Apple offers concert discovery features on both Apple Maps and Apple Music exclusively to artists using Bandsintown.

Apple Music Set Lists

The Set Lists space features set lists across a selection of major tours. Fans can listen to set lists, read about the productions, and browse upcoming shows directly within the Apple Music app.

Apple Maps Guides

Apple Maps features more than 40 curated Guides highlighting the best venues to experience live music in some of the world’s leading culture hubs. Through these Guides, fans can browse venues’ upcoming shows directly from Maps through Shazam’s concert discovery module.

How to get featured in Apple Set Lists or Apple Music Guides

By ensuring that your information and events are up-to-date on Bandsintown, Apple may choose to feature your venue in an upcoming Set List or Guide.*

To get started, you’ll first need to create or claim an artist page on Bandsintown for Artists. Follow these steps to claim or create an artist page.

From the Bandsintown for Artists dashboard, click on Profile and add the Apple Music artist page URL. Learn how to find your Apple Music URL below.

Once your artist page is created or claimed and your Apple Music URL is added to your profile, visit the Events section and be sure all of your upcoming shows are listed—this is the data Apple uses to retrieve your events. Apple pulls all published events associated with your Bandsintown artist page and displays them each time a user discovers you on Apple Maps or Apple Music. There is no limit or restriction to the number of events that can be displayed.

If you add or remove an event or update an existing one, your changes will appear on Apple Music within 24-48 hours. To submit an urgent modification request, email us at artistsupport@bandsintown.com

If you do not see your events on Apple Music, or if you do not see your changes reflected, double check that your Apple Music artist page URL has been added to the Links section of your Bandsintown Profile and wait 48 hours for the changes to be reflected. If the URL has been added for more than 48 hours and you still do not see your events, email us at artistsupport@bandsintown.com.

*Updating your events on Bandsintown for Artists ensures your eligibility to be featured in either an Guide or Set List, but does not guarantee that your page will be featured. Inclusion in either Guides or Set Lists is at the sole discretion of Apple Music.

Ticket Links on Apple Music

Events listed on your Apple Music page include a link that may point either straight to the ticket provider’s website or to the corresponding Bandsintown event page, at the sole discretion of Apple Music.

On the Bandsintown event page, fans can find ticketing information and purchase options as well as subscribe to ticket inventory alerts and reminders.

How to find the Apple Music URL of an artist page

On the web, visit music.apple.com and enter the name of the artist in the search box.

Click on the artist’s name or image to visit their Apple Music page, and take note of the URL in your browser–that is the Apple Music artist page URL.

The URL should have a format similar to this:

On the Apple Music app, navigate to the artist page, then click on the three dots on the right side, and choose Share Artist–this will copy the artist page URL to your device’s clipboard.
