Overview
Bandsintown for Artists connects with Rivet so you can manage fan data and include upcoming shows directly in your Rivet email campaigns.
Once connected:
- New fan signups from your Bandsintown Widget, Smart Link, and Signup Form are automatically sent to your Rivet workspace in real time. 
- You can easily add your Bandsintown tour dates to your Rivet emails to keep fans updated on upcoming events.

Sync your fan data from Bandsintown to Rivet
1. Open the Bandsintown Integration in Rivet
- Log in to your Rivet account. 
- From the left-hand menu, go to Capture Fans → Integrations → Bandsintown. 
- In the Bandsintown view, paste the link to your Bandsintown Artist Page into the Artist Page URL field. 
2. Connect to Bandsintown for Artists
Click on Bandsintown for Artists Settings: you’ll be redirected to your Bandsintown for Artists account.
If you haven’t already approved our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), you’ll automatically be prompted to review it first before being able to set up the webhook. Simply follow the on-screen steps to approve it. Once approved, the webhook setup will continue automatically.
Once in your Bandsintown account, scroll to the Webhook URL section and click Manage.
3. Add the Rivet webhook URL in Bandsintown for Artists
Back in Rivet, copy the Webhook URL shown in step 3 in your Bandsintown integration window. Return to Bandsintown for Artists → Settings → General → Webhook URL, paste the URL you copied from Rivet, and click Save.
A Secret Key will be generated automatically: copy it and keep it ready to share with Rivet.
4. Paste the Secret Key in Rivet
- Return to Rivet and paste the Secret Key into the Secret Key field. 
- Click Save to complete the connection. 
Rivet will confirm that your webhook connection is active, and new Bandsintown fan signups will automatically appear in your Rivet workspace.
Add your Bandsintown tour dates to Rivet emails
1. Open the email creation tool
- Log in to your Rivet Dashboard. 
- From the left-hand menu, go to Send Messages → Email and click + Create New Push to start a new email campaign. 
2. Select and edit your email template
Choose a template that fits your design needs, then click Edit to open the email editor. In the editor, select Add Block → Bandsintown Tour Dates.
3. Choose the artist
Select an existing artist already linked to your Rivet account, or connect a new artist from Bandsintown. Once selected, your upcoming Bandsintown events will automatically appear in the email editor.
4. Configure event buttons
When the event list first loads, only the Tickets toggle is active by default. To maximize fan engagement, enable any other relevant buttons such as VIP, RSVP, Sold Out, Waitlist, Presale, or Notify Me.
5. Finalize and send
After reviewing your email and event block:
- Save the template. 
- Preview the email to ensure all links and buttons display correctly. 
- Click Send when ready. 
Your email will automatically include live event information from your Bandsintown account, complete with ticketing links.
