Overview
Bandsintown for Artists connects with co:brand so you can showcase live events directly on your co:brand Drops, and automatically sync new fan signups collected through Bandsintown into your co:brand account.
Once connected:
Your upcoming Bandsintown events can automatically appear on your co:brand drops.
New fan signups from your Bandsintown Widget, Smart Link, and Signup Form are automatically sent to your co:brand account in real time.

Important: Fan Contact Sync only sends new fan opt-ins collected after the integration is connected. These opt-ins can be collected through the Bandsintown Widget, Smart Link, Signup Form, and Bandsintown opt-in calls to action on your co:brand drop.
Followers and RSVPs gained through the Bandsintown website or app do not sync.
⚠️ Note: opt-ins collected before connecting can be exported from Bandsintown through Fan Manager and imported into co:brand.
Before you start
Before connecting your Bandsintown page:
Make sure your artist profile and Drops are set up in co:brand.
Add your Bandsintown link to your Drop profile:
Go to Profile Details (click the Gear icon at the top right).
Scroll down and add your Bandsintown link using this format:
https://www.bandsintown.com/a/ARTIST_ID_NUMBER
or
https://www.bandsintown.com/a/ARTIST_ID_NUMBER-artist-name
Display your Bandsintown events on your Drop page
Once a Bandsintown artist link is added to a Drop profile in co:brand, artists can populate their Drop page with their upcoming events from Bandsintown. These events will automatically appear in the Drop preview and can be renamed or removed as needed.
Setup instructions
Log in to your co:brand account and open your Artist Drop page (via the Drops tab on the left sidebar).
Make sure you’re in the correct artist profile. If needed, click Swap Profile to switch to a different artist.
Click + New Drop in the top right corner.
Under Basic Details, choose the Pre-Sale & Multi-Links template.
Enter your Drop title, description, and URL name.
In the Embedded Links section, click Use Bandsintown Events.
You’ll see your upcoming events populate automatically in the Drop Preview.
Adjust your events as desired. You can remove or rename them before publishing.
Sync your fan data with co:brand
Bandsintown for Artists connects with co:brand to help you reach fans faster. Once connected, new fan signups from your Bandsintown Widget, Smart Link, and Signup Form are automatically sent to your co:brand account in real time.
How to connect Bandsintown for Artists to co:brand
Go to your Bandsintown for Artists Settings page (make sure you're logged into the correct artist account).
Scroll down to the Fan Contact Sync section and click the Set Up button.
In the configuration modal, locate the Platform dropdown menu and select co:brand.
Copy the webhook URL from your co:brand dashboard, then paste it into the webhook URL field on Bandsintown and click Start Syncing.
Copy the Secret Key provided by Bandsintown.
Paste the Secret Key into your co:brand dashboard and click Save.
⚠️ Note: In co:brand, new signups appear immediately under Drops > Signups.
The Fanbase tab reflects the same data but updates on a batch cycle of roughly 6 hours, so a new signup may not show there right away.
Important: Turn on “Collect Phone Number” in Bandsintown for Artists
The primary goal of the Fan Contact Sync integration is to send your fans’ opt-in information (name, email, location, etc.) from the Bandsintown.
When you use this integration with co:brand, phone numbers could become particularly important. To include phone numbers in the Fan Contact Sync payload, make sure the Collect Phone Number toggle is turned ON in your Bandsintown for Artists settings.
Once this toggle is enabled, please allow up to 12 hours for the change to propagate across the platform. After that, new opt-ins will start requesting and sending phone numbers from Bandsintown.
SMS consent and compliance
Fans who share their phone numbers through Bandsintown are verified through a double opt-in process and, as of October 2025, include SMS-specific consent language that meets TCPA requirements in all signup flows. This means the data sent to co:brand is already validated and compliant for text message marketing. For more details, see Collecting Fan Data.
