Reusing HTML code across email campaigns

Save time and maintain a consistent look by quickly copying the HTML and CSS code from previous email campaigns to use again

Updated over a month ago

It only takes a few steps to copy the code from an email campaign you’ve already built and reuse it on a new campaign.

For draft campaigns

From the Campaigns tab of your Bandsintown for Artists dashboard, click on the campaign you want to copy code from.

From the Campaign page, click the Code Editor button to display the campaign’s code.

Click the CSS button in the upper-right of the code box to display the corresponding CSS code.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to copy the code from both sides of the code box–the HTML code and the CSS code. Copying only the HTML code may result in discrepancies in the appearance of your emails.

To create a new Email Builder campaign to reach your followers, click Create Campaign from the Campaigns tab of your dashboard.

To create a new Promoted Email campaign to reach fans of similar artists, click Create Ad Campaign from the Ad Manager tab of your dashboard.

On the new Campaign page, click the Code Editor button and then the CSS button within the code box.

Delete any existing code and replace it with the code you copied from the previous campaign.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to paste the HTML code in the left (HTML) side of the box, and the CSS code in the right (CSS) side. Pasting only the HTML code may result in discrepancies in the appearance of your emails.

Your new campaign will now have the same look as your previous campaign.

For sent campaigns

Simply click on the three dots next to a sent campaign and then click Duplicate. The HTML/CSS code will be preserved in the duplicate campaign.
