If the Request A Show button is enabled at the bottom of a Widget and Smart Link, fans can request a show from an artist who currently does not have any events scheduled nearby.

Alternatively, fans can always request a show from an artist’s Bandsintown page.

Allowing fans to request shows provides great insight into an artist’s demand in a given city and can be used to plan future events. Check the requests in the Insights section of the Bandsintown for Artists dashboard by clicking Top Cities and then ticking the bubble next to By Fan Requests.

Allowing fans to request shows does not create any kind of obligation or commitment to perform shows in those cities.
