The signup flow presented to fans who visit your website and interact with the Widget or API, or Signup Form, or those who interact on social with your Smart Link, allows you to collect the following information:
location (city/state/country)
first name
email address
phone number
Please note every email address and phone number collected are verified through double opt-in: we ask fans to type the verification code we send to their email address and phone number.
Phone number collection is optional: to enable it, log in to your Bandsintown for Artists account, go to your artist's Settings, and switch the Collect Phone Number toggle. The signup form presented to your fans will continue to ask for location, first name and email address but a new phone number collection step will be inserted after they have confirmed their email address.
