YouTube has teamed up with Bandsintown to let artists with Official Artist Channels showcase their upcoming concerts on YouTube. This seamless integration lets fans discover your nearby upcoming shows on your videos—helping you drive awareness, sell more tickets, and grow your fanbase.
How to add your events to YouTube
1. New to Bandsintown for Artists?
Sign up for free and claim or create your artist page.
2. If you’re already using Bandsintown for Artists:
(1) Go to Events, (2) select the Integrations tab, and (3) link your YouTube account by entering your YouTube artist channel URL.
After connecting your YouTube channel URL, go to the Upcoming Events tab to verify that your upcoming shows are accurately listed. If any of your upcoming events are missing, follow these steps to add an event.
How to find your YouTube artist channel URL
To find your YouTube artist channel link:
1. Go to your YouTube channel.
2. Copy the URL from your browser’s address bar
Your YouTube artist channel URL should have a format similar to this:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/your_channel_id
https://www.youtube.com/@handle
How to edit your events listed on YouTube
To edit your events listed on YouTube, start by going to Events within your Bandsintown for Artists dashboard. From there, you can follow these steps to edit your events. Any changes you make will be reflected on YouTube within 24-48 hours.
Troubleshooting:
If your event updates don't appear on YouTube after 48 hours, verify that your YouTube account is properly connected
To stop your events from appearing on YouTube altogether, disable the feature from YouTube Studio in the Concerts tab
Where to find your events on YouTube
Fans may discover your concerts in several places on YouTube, including your videos. In the future, they may also appear on your Official Artist Channel, in notifications, and on the YouTube and YouTube Music homepages. For more details, see YouTube’s FAQs.
