The ability to collect fan contact information is exclusively available from:
the new Bandsintown Events Widget
the new Bandsintown Smart Link
the Bandsintown Email Signup Form
If you already use the previous version of the Bandsintown Events Widget, or the Bandsintown plugin on your WordPress, Wix or Squarespace website, you continue to gain new followers when fans Track you or RSVP to your events, but follower contact information is not available. The sooner you can upgrade to the new Events Widget, the sooner you can collect fan contact information and grow your audience.
If your website already uses the Bandsintown API, a few small updates will allow you to collect fan contact information: follow these instructions to upgrade.
In the meantime, keep in mind you can always add the Email Signup Form to the footer of your website and of course, you can use the Smart Link on your social media accounts to get started.
