How do I add a festival or multi-day event to Bandsintown?
Updated over a week ago

1. SEARCH FOR YOUR FESTIVAL ON BANDSINTOWN.COM

Check if your festival already has a page on Bandsintown: go to www.bandsintown.com and type your festival name in the search bar. If you see your festival listed under the "FESTIVALS" section, click on it and copy your festival page URL for future reference, then skip step 2 and jump directly to step 3. If your festival is not listed in the search results (or if it is listed under "ARTISTS"), please go to step 2.

2. REQUEST A FESTIVAL PAGE

If your festival is not listed on Bandsintown (or if it is listed under "ARTISTS"), that means it does not have a festival page. There are several benefits with festival pages: festival image or flyer, festival details, access to tickets (via Festicket or Frontgate only, other ticket providers not yet supported), a full lineup displayed in chronological order, a map of the location and access to accommodation, and more importantly, they allow fans to receive alerts and reminders. To request your festival page, please reach out to our Support team and be sure to provide the information below:

  • Festival Name: festival name as it should appear on Bandsintown.

  • Festival Website: link to the website or social media account of your festival.

  • Start Date: start date of the festival. Use the following format: YYYY-MM-DD.

  • Start Time: start time of the festival. Use a 24-hour clock (HH:MM). For example, use 21:30 instead of 9:30 PM. Time will default to 19:00 if this information is not provided.

  • End Date: end date of the festival. Use the following format: YYYY-MM-DD.

  • End Time: end time of the festival. Use a 24-hour clock (HH:MM). For example, use 21:30 instead of 9:30 PM. Time will default to 19:00 if this information is not provided.

  • Location: name of the venue or location where the festival is taking place (or use "Live Stream" if it is online).

  • Country: country of the venue.

  • Region: 2-letter state/province code (mandatory for US or Canada).

  • City*: city of the venue.

  • Address: street address of the venue.

  • Postal Code: postal code of the venue.

  • Time Zone: time zone of the festival (mandatory for live streams). The format for time zone is: Country/City_Name. See a full list of valid timezones here.

  • Assets: festival profile and banner images (e.g. festival logo). The profile image must be square, with a maximum resolution of 2046x2046 pixels. The banner image resolution should have a maximum resolution of 1120x720 pixels. Supported file types included PNG, JPG and JPEG and maximum file size is 6 MB.

3. FESTIVAL EVENTS TO UPLOAD

If you would like to add the lineup of the festival to Bandsintown, please fill out our Festival Events Spreadsheet (available here). Review the Field Requirements to make sure that your spreadsheet is formatted correctly or we will not be able to process it. Each artist's event should be listed in a distinct row. Fields with an asterisk are mandatory.

Note:

Artists will only be published in your festival lineup if they have a Bandsintown artist page of their own. If they don't, please reach out to their manager and encourage them to create their page on Bandsintown. Also, be aware that managed artists on Bandsintown can control whether imported events are published automatically or not, which may result in a delay before the artist can be displayed in your lineup.

4. PUBLICATION

Once your spreadsheet is ready and you have verified that it meets all the field requirements at the bottom of this page, please send it to our Support team. We will do our best to process it in the next 3-5 business days.
