Is my widget set up correctly?
Updated over a week ago

The code needed to display the Bandsintown Events Widget on other platforms and website builders like Wix, Squarespace, Bandzoogle or Wordpress can be found in the "Toolbox" section of your Artists dashboard. Click "Get Started" under "Widget" and then choose your website platform at the bottom of the page for detailed instructions.

If you are having trouble, it can help to use your artist ID instead of your artist name. You can find your unique artist ID in the URL of your Bandsintown page: https://www.bandsintown.com/a/491. In this example, you would use "ID_491" rather than the artist name "Gavin DeGraw."

Please also make sure that there is no old Bandsintown code or any out-of-date Bandsintown plugins on your site. This might cause the widget to break. Sometimes the script tag of the old widget gets left in the head of the html code, so don't forget to check there.

If you are still having trouble please see if any of the following pertains to you:

*Tumblr users need to replace the a class in the widget code with a div class (if you are still having trouble with this please email your code to ArtistSupport@bandsintown.com and we can help there)

*Hostbaby users need to reach out directly to Hostbaby to lift restrictions and allow the widget on their site.

*Wordpress.com users need to have a Business Wordpress account for our Wordpress Events Widget to work.

If you are still having trouble, please email us at ArtistSupport@bandsintown.com so we can assist!
