How do I claim an existing artist page on Bandsintown?
Updated over a year ago

Log In or Get Started at Bandsintown For Artists.

Click the + Add Artist button and enter the artist’s name.

If the artist is listed in the drop-down list and it looks like the correct profile for them, click the Get Access button beside their name.

If the artist is listed, but you don't recognize the profile photo and think that it may be another artist using the same name, please get in touch with us at ArtistSupport@bandsintown.com. Keep in mind that a profile might already have been created for your artist if past events were imported from official ticket providers. If you're not sure, you can search for this name on https://bandsintown.com/ to see if anything looks familiar, like past shows or social media links.

If the artist page looks correct but has already been claimed, you can Request Access to join the team.

If the artist page is not already managed, you will be asked to verify your association with this artist. Please note that you should only claim an artist that you have an ongoing relationship with, as a full-time manager or record label, for example. If you are a promoter who has booked them for an event that you are producing, you will be more interested in the tools available to you on Bandsintown Promoter.

If you are an admin of your artist's Facebook page, you can click Verify with Facebook, provide your login credentials, and select that Facebook page. If you don't see the artist page there, make sure that the credentials you provided are the same ones used to manage that page.

After clicking Next, you'll be asked to give Bandsintown the necessary permissions, by leaving all of the toggle switches set on YES.

When you click the Done button, you should get a confirmation that Bandsintown is now linked to Facebook.

You can then Select Page to complete the verification. For security reasons, sometimes you may still be asked to Contact Support in order for us to confirm the verification. You can also check your Facebook Business Integrations Settings to make sure that Bandsintown is active there before contacting us.

If you have access to the artist's Twitter account then you can also verify by clicking Verify with Twitter and logging into the artist's Twitter account like in the previous steps instead of Facebook. These are the easiest and fastest ways to verify.

If you do not have access to the artist's Facebook or Twitter, please click on the Contact Us button. This will allow you to select the appropriate relation to your artist from the Your Role drop-down menu, enter your professional email address, the name of your company, and a link to your artist's website or social media page that shows your name and that same professional email address. Another suggested link to provide as evidence could also be the website of your management company where we can easily find the artist as part of your roster there.

When you click the Submit button, an email will be sent to the Support team. They will review your claim to determine whether you qualify to manage that artist, and then send you a message to confirm, deny or request more info. You should receive an email back from our team within 2-3 business days of submitting the request, so thanks for your patience.

Until we approve or deny your request, you will see the artist in your list with the words Pending Verification and won't be able to click it until after you are verified.

*Please note: If you receive an error message when adding your link it may be because you did not add your email address to your profile. In this case you just need to go back to the My Account page and add your email address so that we can notify you about your verification status. You should also get an email confirmation about your pending request:

**Once you reach at least 100 followers on Bandsintown, the verified badge will appear automatically on your artist page.
