Event Boost gives your show instant promoted placement across Bandsintown with no setup or ongoing maintenance required. You pay a one-time flat fee, and your show stays boosted from purchase through show day.

From purchase until show day. The sooner you boost, the more time your event has to generate views, clicks, and RSVPs.

Who will see my boosted event?

Concertgoers on Bandsintown who match your event based on location, music taste, and engagement—fans actively discovering shows, browsing the app or website, or reading our automated emails.

Can I choose where my event appears?

No—and that’s by design. It’s built for speed and simplicity. Our algorithm automatically places your show in featured recommendation slots across Bandsintown’s homepage, website, app, and automated emails, all targeted based on fan behavior.

How quickly does my Event Boost go live?

Your event will begin appearing on Bandsintown within 15 minutes of purchase and will gradually roll out to all channels over the next 4–6 hours.

Can I boost a past event?

No—only upcoming events are eligible.

Can I boost the same event more than once?

No. Each event can only be boosted once, but it remains boosted through show day—so earlier is always better.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my event?

Changes, cancellations, and refunds

Changes after purchase

After you boost an event, some updates may be restricted to protect placement integrity. If you need to change key details like the venue, date, or location, contact Support with your event link: artistsupport@bandsintown.com

Canceled or rescheduled events

Contact Support as soon as possible with updated details so we can review next steps: artistsupport@bandsintown.com

Refunds

Event Boost purchases are reviewed case by case. If you believe a refund is warranted—for example, due to an event cancellation—contact Support with your order details: artistsupport@bandsintown.com.
